Wish List

Survivors often flee abuse with nothing more than the clothes on their backs. Traumatized and fearful, they turn to organizations like Deaf Overcoming Violence through Empowerment (DOVE) for refuge and to be provided everything they need to start over from bedding and towels to toothbrushes and shampoo. Below is a wish list of critical items needed by our survivors and DOVE as an organization to continue helping domestic and sexual violence victims.

There are a variety of ways you can get items to survivors! You can purchasing an item through our Amazon wishlist which is a great way of knowing exactly how your contribution is being used, since any item you purchase will be automatically sent directly to DOVE.

Another way is for you to contact krista@deafdove.org to coordinate a “curbside pickup” and donate gently used items. We are including a list of items we have noticed our survivors need/want below. We request that these items are new unless it says (G) which means can be gently used:

*Please note, we do serve men and gender neutral individuals so it is vital to emphasize that donations for clothing from men and gender neutral are very much needed.
