Lisa Aikin
Lisa (she/hers) was formerly a professor/Instructor teaching ASL (American Sign Language) at University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS), Southwest Community College (SWC) in San Diego, CA., and Grossmont Community College (GC) in San Diego, CA. Currently, Lisa teaches at Colorado Mesa University (CMU).
Lisa is also a Board member of Western Slope Deaf Initiatives/Bridge Communication (WSDI/BC) and is thrilled to also join the DOVE team of Board members.
Lisa’s hobbies include: sports, reading books, playing with my children, watching TV/Movies, getting involved in Bible studies with groups, and traveling. Lisa loves spending time with her family of 4, her husband and her 2 bilingual Children of Deaf Adults (CODAs).
